Last week, the Speaker's chamber passed energy affordability legislation aimed at reducing high energy costs. It would make cuts to Mass Save, establish closer government oversight, and direct the state to refund some fees to consumers. Mariano admitted that the impact would be limited. "The completely honest answer is it's not going to help much at all," he said.
