Proud father, lucky husband, decent improviser, experienced software engineer, avid reader, podcaster (Knights of the Rolled Table, Hacking the Grepson), gamer (single player). Be kind, or shut up. For legal reasons, this account is satire.
FFS do it
Markwayne is the worst variant Batman
Good riddance, though her replacement doesnβt exactly sound like a good person.
Weird they got an actual Republican congressman to be in their commercial.
One of the hardest concepts to get new improvises to understand is that your character can say βnoβ without breaking the βyes, andβ rule. The important part of βyesβ isnβt blind obedience in-scene, itβs you saying YES to the shared reality you and your scene partner are creating together.
Socially, maybe. Economically? No. (and this is why βleft vs rightβ is too reductive and why using only a two party system makes no sense)
Which Republican policies do you like that Dems arenβt already backing?
Do we have the video from yesterday?
Texas voters, protect your vote:
β’ Bring an approved photo ID, Texas is strict about this
β’ If your name does not match exactly, bring supporting documents
β’ If they challenge you at the polls, you can request a provisional ballot
2/3
Thatβs how old I am, I can confirm that 47 years is forever
Imagine if they were βWar Contractorsβ
Whatever
Fair enough. How would you have worded the headline?
Sure, no argument there. But in this context, used in this way, it is very clear what is meant, and silly to get pedantic about it. Similarly, I saw a lot of βum actuallyβing about Senator Al Greenβs βBlack people are not apes!β sign with people saying βall humans are apesβ, we all know whatβs meant
petaQ! Gowron would have respected the hell out of Jay-Den and his courageous fight against expectations and gender norms. One who fights the whole world, is a true warrior indeed.
As I said, it depends on the definition. I mean if you look at the wiki page on βhumanβ they donβt mention Neanderthal (as far as I saw). Itβs all semantics. Personally, I donβt have a strong opinion one way or the other, itβs silly to plant you flag on a hill made of sand
Like I said, depends on the definition you use. I also have Neanderthal ancestors.
But, I mean, if they want to identify as human Iβll call them human
Well then youβre incorrect. βHumanβ equates to Homo sapiens. Neanderthals were Homo neanderthalensis
I believe I witnessed that
I just wrote this elsewhere with more info, but it depends on the definition of the word βhumanβ you use
Depends on how you define βhumanβ. They were people by any reasonable definition, but theyβre not Homo sapiens
It would explain a lot, actually.
Until they change their name back, no one should be working with or helping them in any way (and not even then, TBH) Just the message that working with the Dept of βWarβ sends should be enough to do that. But people are horrible these days.
And this is why I use Claude, and not a more well known Chat bot who is owned by people who are huge donors to Turnipβ. Plus it works better for what I use AI for
Iβve been slowly world building a story idea where an event happens that leads to Carter winning in β80, Reagan doesnβt get past the primaries in β84. The rest is sort of a βwhat if?β around that and the fallout from the event. Itβs shocking how much suffering can be traced directly back to Reagan
People who donβt know information are ignorant and, from this ignorance, can think foolishly. But this becomes stupidity when rejecting offered evidence that could remove their ignorance. And even more foolish than that is being proud of not wanting to learn and staying ignorant.
People do what you pay them to do.
You pay corporate executives to make stock prices go up, not to make better products.
You pay politicians to get re-elected, not to govern well.
You pay reporters to get a bigger audience, not to tell the truth.
And so forth.
Be aware of what you pay people to do
Well thatβs just begging to become a meme format
