Photo of a faux-leather biker jacket I hand-painted. The design features the outline of a white snake, with purple bramble leaves and flowers as its patterns and a light purple halo around its head. The snake is wrapping its way around thin red letters that spell the sentence "pulchritudo in oculo spectanti est", beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Hey people! It's been a while since I posted here. I added a new medium to my skillset and I love it! here is my very first hand-painted faux-leather jacket 😊

Digital drawing of a black peppered moth surrounded by Grey twigs with tiny blue and pink flowers looking like Wisteria. Inspired by art nouveau
Re sharing the peppered moth I did for Artober, but for #mothmay!
Colored pencil drawing of an elaborate old glass bottle with swirls ornaments. The prompt was analogous color theme so the bottle is pink purple and dark blue!

After-work sketch based on #aprilcolors2025! I took inspiration from whatever Pinterest threw at me 😅 also, I'm a beginner with colored pencils but I love the texture they have.
I saw the image before your message, and immediately I had this song in mind 😄 capybaras are much more friendly though of course www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbHH...
Digital drawing of an imaginary moth, based on my synesthesia and what is coming to mind when I think about the name Julien. Julien brings images of orange soda, whirlpool, splashes of water, whipped cream (especially the texture and the noise it makes when coming out of the bottle), bright orange, deep green, off-white. The moth has curvy antennae coming back over it's back. The wings are orange and end in little swirls and they have a whirlpool pattern on them, with 2 eyes. The body is mainly green, and it has light green fur on its abdomen, growing in a swirl pattern. Drawn in Infinite Painter with only default brushes, by myself (Charline). Also I'm experimenting with new signatures so that's why it changed.
I have a form of synesthesia and a while ago I did an abstract series about names.
This time I tried to apply it to imaginary moths 🦋!
Julien (French), is like whipped cream, orange soda, a whirlpool inside a funnel, splashes, and summer. And it's bright orange, deep green and white.
😄 Vu que je sors pas de chez moi je suis déjà entre 4 mûres, en quelque sorte
A collage representing a very happy and very cute hybrid between a sauropod and a sunflower. The sauropod's head is surrounded by sunflower petals, and its body is a vibrant green color. A few bushes of grass surround the sauropod. Collage made with paper, glue of course, alcohol markers and colored pencils.
Today I combined #MutationMarch2025 sauropod, and #makersmARTch glue, to create this magnificent creature, the Sunraupode flower 🙌🦕🌻
I'm quite a beginner at collage, but this was fun 😀

OMG don't eat the poor Cat-radish! 😱😱😱 😄
A drawing of a catfish, mashed with a radish. The catfish mustaches become the radishes' roots, it's fins are the radish leaves and the fish is colored in pink, with its head white. It's surrounded by abstract light blue waves and spirals. Drawn with alcohol markers and colored pencils.
The sketchbook page with the preliminary catfish-radish sketches in various angles and poses. Drawn with a pencil and a couple of them are colored in to test the palette.
Today's #MutationMarch2025 is a Catradish 😄 it was super fun to do and a nice relaxing drawing after work.

A drawing of a weird palm tree where each of the leaves is actually a house centipede. But green. There are 5 leaves disposed symmetrically around the truc who looks like a dragon egg, inside a blue pot. Alcohol markers and colored pencils.
Don't forget to feed your house palmtreepede!
This one is more of a rough sketch, I don't want to spend more than 30min on it and I don't have much energy today :/ but I would 100% like to improve the concept and do something better.

Love the texture, those brushes look great!
A drawing made for mutation march 2025 prompt number 4: Narwhal. I mixed the Narwhal with Fuchsia flowers. The tusk became the pistil, the head the central petals, fins the outer petals, and the tail is the leaves surrounding the stems. There are 3 flowers. Everything is colored in shades of blue and grey. Made with alcohol markers and colored pencils.
A drawing of a Jacana bird, but green and with legs resembling a mangrove tree. Some hanging leaves under its belly remind of the way Jacana's carry their babies under their wings: looking like one bird with 10 legs. Another mangrove Jacana is in the distance. Made with alcohol markers and colored pencils.
For today's #MutationMarch2025 prompt I went deeper into the weird and mixed the Narwhal with Fuchsia flowers. Thank you for this challenge @galusaurus.bsky.social, it really makes me excited to draw and I enjoy it 💚
Also excellent to work on creativity!

This morning's #MutationMarch2025 prompt was Jacana. I love those birds, but my partner thinks they're creepy. Especially when they carry their babies.
Not super happy about the drawing but he, that's the game 🤷🏻♀️

A drawing of a blue hippopotamus' head peaking above water, with a pink lotus on its head. Around the lotus there are vegetal patterns inspired by art nouveau. Made with alcohol markers and colored pencils.
Little morning sketch for #MutationMarch2025! I'm experimenting with colored pencils and trying to improve my coloring skills.
Also I'm very bad at taking and editing drawing pics. Anyone knows a good lightroom preset for that?

It was my birthday yesterday, and I realised I never did the artist vs art thingy for 2024, so here it is!
I even made the cardigan myself 🙃
I love the texture so much on this one! so soft I wanna touch it. 😍
🦋 Post your favorite butterfly or moth art or photo.🦋
Angle shade moth.
I know I already posted it but I love it 🥺
I drew them, they're available on my shop. I only uploaded those 3 for now but I have 28 more to prepare and upload!
It's moth stickers time! ✨🦋
Chaos is everywhere, but receiving this made me a little more happy.
I'm bad at photos though, damn 😅

Blue monday was real for me yesterday. It's been a while that my mood hasn't been so low. I just want to stay away from the world and be surrounded by pretty and calm things.
So here are a few more moths drawings for you.

Thank you 😊 it's been 11 days and I'm still sick but feeling better. At least I can breathe now 😄
One of my goals for 2025 is to explore new creative media. I started right away with collage and zero preparation 😄 I just wanted to create something while having a bad flu and no energy.
#collage #insectart
I got acrylic markers yesterday! So for my first time ever using acrylic markers, I drew this little rolly-poly I saw in October.

thank you 🥺 I always think I don't have a style, so you noticing one is so cool for me ☺️
wow that's so cool 😍 Congrats on completing this challenge that's no small feat 👏
A digital illustration of a Capricorn, Cerombyx Cerdo, in a marker/rough style. The capricorn is mainly in red, blue and teal tints, and it's surrounded by red pansies with bright teal leaves. On the top left corner is the earth glyph, top left is the cardinal sign glyph and in the bottom center, between the capricorn's antenae, is the Capricorn zodiac sign glyph. Drawn by Echolonely/Charlinem
I just wanted to sit down and play around with brushes and colors... what should have been a quick sketch ended up like this 😅 I quite like it though.
Here is the Capricorn, Cerambyx Cerdo!
It's not super anatomically correct, but that wasn't the goal.

A digital illustration, made with watercolor digital brushes, of an hydrometra stagorum: an insect who lives on slow moving water. The insect is see from slightly above, standing over water, and decorative plants inspired by Myriophyllum spicatum plants, in an Art nouveau style. The name of the insect is written at the bottom, in decorative serif letters.
My latest piece in the "Roll for bugs" series, where I let the dice decide which bug I draw in which style: The Hydrometra Stagnorum, inspired by art nouveau.
I see so many things to change and improve here, but that'll do for now 😅

Thanks! For the short time I worked on it I'm glad that it works well already 😊
Thanks! I'm glad that it's recognizable 😅 I always saw them around as a kid but I never looked at them closely
