I was kinda iffy on the ones I found on Amazon, but I think that's mainly because I'm not used to using Amazon for furniture type purchases. I'll take another look there.

Does anyone use any good standing/rising desks they can recommend?

I'd say maybe somewhere in the middle? Like more warm leaning but not overly-warm.

Quick update on the @unity.com SDK for @resonite.com - skinned meshes now translate! This paves the way towards setting up avatars through this! :3

I don't know how to explain but it's very "Froox" of @frooxius.bsky.social to be playing RDR2, see a mirror and go "oh, it's a fully rendered mirror!" and then proceed to analyze and discuss the technical details of how the mirror is rendered for 20 minutes.

This is very parallel to how I feel. Having just turned 29 I feel like I've only taken what has fallen in my lap, and waited for everything else to happen. Now I'm realizing some things won't happen unless I make them, but it's such a mental block for me actually doing them.

And I hate to break my semi-social media silence with a vent, but "talking out loud" like this helps sometimes.

In any case, I'll be OK. I've long struggled with the incapability of being a functioning person, but I wish it were easier to be better.

Consciously I know there are things that *should* make me happy, but the "excitement" factor of it feels extremely dulled, or deficient. And I feel this has also prevented me from doing things that would make me happy, because the drive to do it is just not there.

I wish happiness naturally came for me a bit easier than it currently does.

I'm still not sure if it's even something that comes naturally or if you have to make it yourself, or a little bit of both.
