This is why I have said for ages we need to track attendance just as much as we do the dollar amounts. Inflation is a thing, and it easily masks the rot within those flashy big numbers.

Highly unlikely to happen. SVOD has been shown to have very little impact on BO, and the studios like that revenue stream.
As for streaming services, I think you will see more and more tiered releases, but I don’t see 6 months ever coming back.
Yep. There is only one thing selling right now on a large scale: Spectacle. And you can only pump out so many of those a year.
Even horror is starting to take a hit.

I mean… we’ve both tried warning everyone, but that “wait for 25” was so sure we were just being Sooners. Oh well, I guess the new normal will just be whatever this is… until it gets worse.
