All dogs sit in a field of tall grass, with big flowers and dandelion puffs, as if they're growing out from it.

A gray version of my fursona dons a flower crown with a pensive expression. In the mirror next to him, the reflection watches with wide eyes, crown not yet above her head. Reflections continue to spiral in the mirror, becoming progressively greener. The text on this page reads: "My younger selves falling away into the green / of mirror-facing mirror, clutching short daisies, / plucked from Park's hair, all of them wanting / to braid the stems, wanting to make something / pretty out of myselves. Crowned soft, floating / in air a reverberation. A reiteration. Another day."

EVERYTHING is on the table for you to bend and break a child to your vision. The parent as first consumer." PANEL 4: The cat is lighting another cigarette. CAT: "'Be yourself' more like a wish than a commandment, then. 'I want to seem like the kind of person who's accepting of your messy self, but let's still have service with a smile, kiddo.' That's how I learned it, anyway."
