While it's not my personal favorite, it's obvious why it had such a massive influence. The multi-generational/lifelong story is incredible.

Replayed Control. The combat is masterfully done, especially later when you have the perfect mods for your play style. Maximizing launch damage, headshots regain energy, launch damage converts to health, dash reloads gun, repeat. Add in punchy sound design/visuals, stew cooked.
