It sure was easier when I could run to Joann's for a yard or two of a missing color needed. But at least I found a place where I can order in 5 yard increments instead of the full 10 yard bolt
Felt update! The company made it right! It took a few weeks, but they resent the missing color free of charge!
We also get to keep the color that was shipped incorrectly as a bonus! Luckily it is a color we use, just not one we needed since we already have a few yards.
Phew. Past me was foolish and made two appointments for the same day but I have triumphed and even managed to get a little work done in-between!
It was a pretty large scrap that's remarkably similar in color to one of our standard colors. It seems to have gotten mixed in the last time we recognized. I'd thought we'd used all the wool up years ago when we were testing it as a possibility but turns out not so much!
Nothing like finding out one of your felt colors is wool like putting it in the laser cutter 🤢

Also Finn looked so sad when he wanted to get in the tree yesterday and it was already occupied by Rory.
And they're the best boys and I like spoiling them 🤣

My authorization request was finally sent to insurance late Fri.
Here's hoping because I've been calling & emailimg insurance will get a move on it. I'll be calling tomorrow to double check they do have it.

Taking a break from calling medical offices and insurance because I deserve a treat. And also nothing is gonna get done over the weekend anyway. But if I don't have my approval by lunch time they're gonna be dealing with a much less patient me
Yup. I'm going to hound them until I'm actually able to do the thing. It's hard to tell who's messing up but it seems to be on the Dr offices end. But is also a thing with insurance so who knows 🤷🏽♀️ Everyone has conflicting information. But work has given me lots of practice making phone calls

Talked to Dr office & insurance Tues. Referrals office said they submitted my request. Insurance says nope. Insurance says today still don't have it & listed all the times they've reached out. Receptionist at dr office finally confirmed the Dr hasn't submitted a request. Yet I have the paperwork?
Of course the exam I need to do is one of the few that insurance has to pre-authorize and it's taking forever 😭 I was hoping to have the results before I meet with a specialist but at best I can get an appointment the day before the appointment if I had the authorization today.
