The SAVE Act doesn't save money--just like a poll tax, there's a cost. To register or re-register to vote (e.g., if you move) you'll need a passport ($130) or Enhanced Driver's License ($30). A Real ID won't meet the requirements of the Act. Call your Senators--tell them we don't need to be SAVED!

On Wednesday, 2/11/26, the Livingston County Board of Supervisors passed Local Law B-2026. It can be reversed but there’s a deadline. We, as taxpayers, need to contact them and let them know that we disagree with their decision. Emails to the Supervisors need to be sent ASAP.

What's worse is that the bill likely won't pass the Senate and become law--another exercise in futility for a congresswoman with little to show while in office. Not only is this bill a solution in search of a problem, since voter fraud is incredibly rare, but the provisions in this bill could turn a right into a privilege for those unable to jump through the hoops required. (If you don't have a passport, or if you married & changed your name, take note.)

Congrats to Rep. Claudia Tenney? The House finally passed a bill she co-sponsored--the SAVE Act. Sadly, this "win" for her is likely a LOSS for her CONSTITUENTS in NY 24.
