Proud of myself - had quite the IML weekend, but I was in bed by 11 every night.

A friend invited me to a pool party last night last minute. I was waffling, but I’m so glad I went. I made out with a bunch of bears (and one otter and one twink) in a super warm swimming pool and literally had one bear fireman-carry me out out of the pool when I left.

It was exactly what I needed

So I wore a flirty bear necklace to a creative event, with the hope that I was flagging a bit for the 🌈. It attracted a bunch of middle aged straight ladies who freaking loved me, asked for my number, and then shared it all amongst themselves. So apparently it has cross demographic appeal.

I suppose the best hope that I can have for the future is that 20 years from now I can look back and say the same about today.

I don’t really think this is at all what I would have imagined that my life would be like when I was in high school or college.

I don’t know that I would want it any differently, it’s just not really a life that I knew that I could have.

Mostly a reminder that I have known a lot of people over the years. The last couple of years have had so much going on that some of these relationships seem more than a lifetime ago. And for some that’s true. #Gay

When looking for the phone number of a recent hookup, sometimes you scroll past the name of a guy you knew in college who turned out to be a gay republican. He wasn’t doing super well was my recollection. But I don’t remember the circumstances, and I’m not sure I care to dig up the past.

I have a Sony mirrorless but it’s a little bit chunky for a daily carry
