For example, the Staples Centre in LA was a landmark project for CBAs - signed in 2001, with community benefits valued at $150 million (double the value of the city subsidy for the project), it contained commitments on affordable housing, parks, local hiring, and living wages.
There is significant precedent for the inclusion of Community Benefits Agreements (CBAs) in the construction of major stadiums and entertainment venues. A new NHL stadium at Lebreton Flats could build opportunities for local economic development, social enterprise, good jobs, etc

We brought together members of the development community to learn about Operation Come Home’s Master Leasing Program.

I was honoured to be interviewed by local Girl Guides . They asked tough questions & lobbied for a national ice cream day. I later found out that Sat, Feb 1st is National Ice Cream for Breakfast day so I think that works. So nice to see these girls take this initiative to talk to me. Thanks girls!
