Link and Zelda are shown in a forest clearing. Each is looking their own direction. There should be a number of trees behind them and at least one patch of shrubs. Zelda Hmm…I was worried about this, Link. Seems the map is outdated. Panel 2: Zelda is looking at the map, fretting slightly as she tries to think. Link, meanwhile, is looking around with wonder. Neither notice the hidden Skull Kid watching from afar. Link should have marks to indicate something off panel caught his attention. Zelda I suppose much would change in 200 years. The forest seems bigger than I’d expect, though. If only we had a guide to the Great Deku Tree to make this easier. Panel 3: Link is now kneeling the shrubs. One particular one catching his attention. He’s inspecting it with curiosity. There’s a leaf that belongs to a sunken deku scrub. Zelda Huh? Link? This is no time to get distracted. There could be monsters or- Panel 4: Mini Panel of Link’s finger poking the leaf of the shrub. Panel 5: The Deku Scrub pops out, more surprised than angry. It should be a short distance in the air. Deku Ah! M-monsters! Pl-please don’t eat me! Panel 6: Reaction of Link and Zelda, Zelda shocked and Link awed. Zelda W-wait…A Deku scrub? Link

A party of adventurers stands in front of a looming, evil looking castle. The party Bard slyly verbally pokes at the party Knight, and the Knight promptly rushes into said castle while the Bard and the party Rogue remain outside. The Rogue questions the Bard’s apparent plan’s validity.

The Knight kicks in the door to a room in which the Villain resides, ready to fight. The Villain is momentarily confused, holding a letter that implies the Knight wants to confess their love for him, so he sits, in his chair, in an open bathrobe drinking a glass of wine. The Knight has a moment of “oh no he’s hot” but draws their blade, and the two of them fight. The page is overlaid with conversation between Rogue and Bard, who lets Rogue know that this was all part of his plan to make Knight and Villain “resolve the pining and tension between them”

The fight is over, the room is upended, Villain and Knight are exhausted. Villain asks if this (the fight) was what they meant with their letter, and Knight (rightfully confused) says they never sent Villain any letters. Villain hands them the letter (clearly sent by Bard, hearts and xoxo and all) and Knight goes so red they might spontaneously combust, realizing the setup. It’s Bard’s doing. And the two of them realize, they have a thing in common.

They both can’t stand Bard. The shared annoyance lures the two of them closer to one another, until finally, Bard’s plan succeeds, and they fall into each other’s arms and “resolve the tension”. Later, aided by bisexual castle lighting, Knight emerges from the castle, disheveled and blushing. Bard and Rogue high five in the background. Do they still have to fight Villain? Probably.
