Making any attempt at all to date in this fandom when you're near 40 and actually looking for something serious is a goram nightmare. Specifically, finding anyone within 5 or so years of your age. Maybe it's just me and my seeming inability to interact in larger groups and chats.

I just want to be able to take care of myself without also having to worry about someone else. I just want to have one day for me. I want others to take me into consideration like I do them. I want to be able treat myself with the same kindness I give to others and not feel selfish.
I really hate injection day before injection time. It's such a tossup between feeling pretty damned fantastic or feeling like the lowest creature on the planet and wanting nothing more than someone to cuddle and tell me everything is going to be ok. There is no in between.
Might give myself some retail therapy soon
It really makes one wonder what they are doing wrong when they are consistently disappointed by the ones they love/who claim to love them...
One of the biggest slaps in the face is having someone you love tell you that you deserve better. Like, step the fuck up. Or someone you love telling you that you deserve love and affection and then watching them give that to someone else. Apparently I don't, in fact, deserve these things.
I actually knew Rukus for a short while...he was honestly one of the best people I had met at that point in the fandom.
I've never related to Cake's "Friend is a Four Letter Word" more than I do now...
Why am I not good enough to get even a fraction of the effort that I put into them in return?
