Yes the 2025 version of War of the Worlds is bad, but it reminds me of the Asylum in a fun way. The effects are a bit cheesy, the story is bad, but I still enjoyed watching it.

A very excellent video essay on one of the most underrated films of the early 2000s. I prefer the theatrical release to the director's cut (which I think has pacing problems), but I know I'm in the minority, and I also agree that you SHOULD see the DC for a more complete story.

Just got out of seeing MJ the Musical and it was outstanding. I wouldn't call myself a fan of his music but the show nails the story and the cast can hit all those dance moves. #PDXBroadway #MJtheMusical
