Not just quickly, in less than two hours! And with smiles and encouragements. I’m still stunned by how good they where 🤩

And here everything was free. I have the long sickness status (or whatever it is called) so i don’t pay a dime.

1st time in an ambulance as a patient yesterday. I’ve been riding ambulances all my medical life as a doctor. There’s always a first! In less than 2 hours I went from life threatening condition to assessment, treatment, and organised follow up
Amazed by the efficiency of the French healthcare system

But with chocolate… 😁

Almost 500€ of medications which is saving my life on the left. Since I’m in France, I don’t have to sell an arm or a leg to pay for them 🇫🇷

Maroulosalata, the Greek 🇬🇷 romaine lettuce with feta, fresh dill, mint, spring onion, lemon juice and olive oil. The fresh dill and the mint give it a unique flavour

That’s all I could eat tonight but I had 2 bowls. There’s enough for a few days, not a problem since it’s always good to start a meal with a healthy soup

Dispiriting lack of energy today in complete contrast with yesterday. But after a two hours nap I regained some strength and will cook a (supposedly) delicious Thaï inspired carrot soup. With sand carrots for extra flavour. And Roscoff onions (AOC) of course 🧅
