Reposting from the Artists I Like series: the incredible Evlyn Moreau! A fave.
I'm totally on board with this
And I remember, one decade and a half ago, when social networks knocked on the door, almost everyone agreed, this would fuck us in the long term. Now here we are.

New piece dropped to patrons this morning!
Hey thanks for the link thatβs very interesting
On bluesky I see little comments about what's happening in Iran, including "collateral damage", or Lebanon, and 1/2 million people forcibly displaced from Beirut
It's just same old
Whereas on the fediverse it's a bit different
What does it mean?
Is bluesky less diverse internationally than mastodon?
Update!
Two columns but one character per column
Need to work on the vertical flow now
Thank you so much everyone for the feedback!!!
Was just thinking that as well Iβll try it
Yeah Iβm not even sure why I reduced font size too much. thanks for the suggestion Iβll try that
Double columns
Single columns
Tough day today, I could use some feedback.
Single or double column pages for NPCs?
Thank you

This book is so late.
I kind of underestimated the task, no kidding.
I'm feeling so bad for the backers who are expecting it, and stressing so much about this (my back is acting kind of weird lately).
But I don't want to botch it, trying my best to make something useful, durable.

I've finished the V1 of The Traveller, one shot and a big chunk of The Lost Bay RPG, which kind of establishes as a baseline.
Lots of things to tweak, the baseline!, the NPC blocks, alignements etc, but I'll leave it for now, I'm moving on to the rules part of the book

That's so cool, I love that. RSS rules!
Oh I had no idea. Thatβs very cool. So a lot of webcomics are free to read I suppose?
Oh thatβs cool

I probably like having access to two different ways to connect with people

At some point it'll become problematic, it always happen.
Also everyone is on bluesky, in a way, in the indie rpg community, in a vast majority North Americans/English speakers, other subcultures and linguistic communities dwell elsewhere.
Bottom like I totally get the issue of filtering yeah.

Also in terms of peace of mind reading a RSS feed is pulling, reaching out, not being being poked at. For my brain, this feels easier. It's like intentionally opening a book, as opposed to the book jumping on me.
Bluesky, I like it a lot, but it's a private company.

I feel you about getting flooded. I suspect Yochai's total feed to be humongous lol. To me the appeal of RSS, besides the fact it's an open standard and the nerd in me likes it, is that I can centralise multiple sources in one place, the feed reader. And I don't need to follow a ton of folks.
True every time I google does x have a RSS feed, usually the answer is yes
Oh that's neat.
RPG stuff only or a wider scope?
What Bluesky has RSS? That's great!
Ahah rss to tiktok is genius powered by gen ai, reads the whole stream and turns it into a 10 sec recap
