Ooo I grew up with that same view (well, a bit back from there). Never get tired of it.
@pintsizedfarmer
I'm a very short farmer's wife from Northumberland and author of A Farmer's Diary and What the Flock. Owner of the late FatPony, Wonky and more....(and massively fascinated by #UAP and #paranormal phenomenon)

It definitely shucks shometimesh
That is completely true
Sorry....๐
I know ๐ I've already eaten them
What on earth is this puppet of horrors?!?
Hey thanks for all your hard work - hope you manage to get a good Xmas
I'm feeling better than I did but still wheezy and pale and pathetic ๐
For some reason that looks really... spidery
Oh I wouldn't like the body blanket pile. What happens in the middle of the night right if you open your eyes and there's a white face peering over the side of the top bunk? I've always had bunk bed anxiety. Merry Christmas
You see that glass balustrade thing behind the sad knee high Xmas tree? Well the kitchen is right below so I'm lying in bed listening to my 83 year old dad eating a late night mince pie and whistling onward Christian soldiers #winningatlife
A sad sofa bed next to an airing dryer full of wet clothes and a basket with one cheese string and some trazadone
A sad unlit knee high Christmas tree next to a printer
Ok because I've had the flu from hell and can't stop coughing I've been banished to the study. Next to the clothes dryer of doom plus light with no shade, two cheese strings and a box of trazadone. Oh and there's a sad knee high unlit Xmas tree next to the ubiquitous printer #duvetknowitschristmas
That's great to hear - I really struggle with well-being/self care and tend to just react to everything that happens. Being in the moment is something I very rarely achieve - good to see another farmer managing it
It might be!
I love her onesie!

Edwin the rescue crow. I can't get close enough to see the problem but he seems very thin
Oh dear I'm now the owner of a rescue crow. I found him bedraggled and dragging a wing. We're snowed in otherwise id take him to a vet. He's in my sunroom eating cat food and lavishly pooing on my clean washing. Cinders the Magnificent is FASCINATED

OMG just won an award at the Northern Pig Awards! @PilgrimUk @BQPPigs Well Steve did but I'm the power behind the throne ๐ He won Growing Farm Stocks person of the Year and best of all WE GOT A CRYSTAL PIG!!! so chuffed for Steve and our piggies ๐๐๐๐ @piggyjags
Because the farm has been in our family for four generations. I know every inch of it, the wildlife and adore living here.
We didn't vote for Brexit. And we're a small family farm which will be hammered by the tax. Just because the land has a monetary value doesn't mean that it's in our bank accounts. My kids are on free school meals ๐คท
Bloody freezing here Sally - hard frost this morning and just waiting for snow!
Such a good book - absolutely perfect for reading on a winter afternoon. I was walking in the woods on our farm today hoping I didn't meet Owd Hob ๐ฌ
So glad to find you on here - I need my regular fix of Tudor history!
These two at the moment - I've always loved @levgrossman.bsky.social after his Magicians series - such a good writer. And I've just finished Withered Hill by @davidbarnettuk.bsky.social - great folk horror - read it in a day!
Beautiful. I'm still in bed clutching a cup of tea
๐ I've now eaten the other leg so it resembles a potato
Thank you!
Yep I think Keel was right...
