It's getting worse all over, but it's not for nothing that I'm making preparations to make leaving the country on short notice as easy as possible. The UK is really fucked up right now and will only continue to get worse unless Greens win. π

Yeah. The UK are pretty blatantly marching towards an adult ban too and we just keep leapfrogging each other in a race to the bottom. It's pretty horrifying.
In what conceivable way has laws ever had the power to make someone appreciate anything? That's such a weird thing to say.
The only chess Trump is any good at is pigeon chess.
I say stuff to NHS managers like βThere is no solution to this that doesnβt involve some of your colleagues being punished,β and they look at me like Iβm from Mars. The idea that we can be harmed and that we might want or deserve redress for that harm is incomprehensible.
Iβd say what does the Labour gov think is gonna happen with trans people when you ban HRT but I reckon they genuinely do not think about it and just think weβll drop this whole βbeing transβ thing and see theyβre doing it for our own good
I hate that I know exactly who he is. ππ€¦ββοΈ
He's as much Korean as he is a detransitioner.
No, she didn't. Even in her own stories she did social transition and wore a binder for a very short period of time.
To be fair I think she was at least in Israel at the time so alarms went off and people went to shelters as a precaution. So it did disrupt her day a little. Hence how she apparently realised that the binder was a "luxury". Had nothing to do with her mother being a grand transphobe or anything.
That's so bad it's just funny. π€¦ββοΈπ
Our dependency on fossil fuels makes us vulnerable. Wars across the world are pushing up prices for households in the UK.
Why keep waiting for the next crisis? We need to transition to clean power as fast as we can to protect people and our economy.

That's why the Tories pushed to make the infrastructure more transphobic. It's deliberate in that sense. It doesn't have to be deliberate by every person involved, but certainly there's a lot of it at the top and they were open about that.
It was also just so weird to try to mix slapstick humour and serious political intrigue in a franchise known for its simple whole family stories. I think the topics could have worked, the overall story could have worked, but the implementation was poor and unfocused with little care for its context.
A huge part of the complaints about episode 1 of the prequels was that no one cares about politics and trade embargoes so making it such a big plot point was boring.
When I went vegan my health took a pretty rapid nose dive, but I still kept to it the vast majority of the time with some occasional cheat days. These days I eat cheese fairly often, but still mostly eat plant based and to hear some vegans it's still as bad as daily mass murder.
Exactly. Literally no part of me coming out had anything to do with the current climate. I came out because I realised it was the first thing that made sense of my life and how I'd felt for decades. It didn't feel like a choice really. It was the only way to improve things.
It's not any more accurate. It's just trying to word it provocatively.
It always seems like a never ending circle-jerk of one-upmanship on purity bullshit. I gave up on that community a long, long time ago. Before I ever even tried going vegan to be honest.
Extract from Impact Assessment. NHS England is separately reviewing the evidence for the use of MAF in adults with gender dysphoria, with the aim of a consultation on the evidence later in 2026.
Given that every 'evidence review' under Labour is conducted to 'build the evidence case against' can there be any real doubt about how this ends?
The complete removal from the NHS, and possible criminalization, of all medication for trans people.
Same. I don't see the appeal at all.
They're famously prone to agreeing with you and telling you you're clever even when you're wrong. That really doesn't seem like something they're actually good for unless you're just looking for something to tell you you're doing a good job regardless of validity.
Not if you want it to be correct. AI can't just replace research work.
Itβs tempting to play the NHSβ game of βLook, the evidence DOES support GAC!β but IMO thatβs a waste of time because it reinforces the idea that the NHS ought to be making decisions about our bodies for us.
If someone wants to change sex, at any age and for any reason, thatβs their business π€·ββοΈ
Yesterday the NHS banned all under 18 prescriptions of HRT for trans young people.
This ban was justified by 10 new studies that largely stated NO EVIDENCE for under 18s HRT exists.
The study underpinning this played one particular trick.
Let's briefly look at how the NHS rigged the game 1/5
I think they'll go for all after 25.
From mandatory ID cards to arresting pensioners for holding up cardboard signs to cosy deals with US tech spy firms:
It's good to see lawyers pushing back on their increasingly authoritarian Govenrment.
We must protect jury trials.
Given how I saw them respond to discovering v-coding I'm not surprised in the least they don't care about the victims there either. Truly some of the worst people I've ever encountered.
Attacking trans youth was his *first* priority in office. I'd say we should fire him into the sun, but he'd find a way to fuck the sun up too just to spite trans people.
Daily mail beware the green menace
Didn't expect Daily Mail to be doing free branding.
Lower bills, protect the NHS and fund public services.
Can imagine why Lord Rothermere isn't so keen....
