I'm a visual artist and fiction writer myself, and so when I review comics and movies I come at them on both a craft level as well as a more conventional critical level.
I recently published the first piece in a series about Peter David's Supergirl run. I talk about the history of the comic, its politics, and its writing/art.

That feeling when you realize a source that you thought was reliable in actuality has poor editing/sourcing/whatever . . . it's not a good feeling.
Damnit, every episode of the You Must Remember This podcast miniseries on Joan Crawford uses this book as a source.

I want to feel better about buying some books; anyone want to commission me to do a drawing?
A piece with a bunch of bells and whistles like the ones below will cost $60. A drawing that's just a character in isolation will cost $40.
Someday someone is going to have to write Golden Age of Hollywood forced feminization where loser guys are contracted by the studios, and then feminized and brainwashed into being mentally unstable actresses.

"Oh, I see where you're getting confused; I'm not talking about mechsploitation handlers, I'm talking about film studio handlers. But, now that you mention it, there IS a lot of coercion involving drugs and stuff . . ."
I'm writing a story about an actress that takes place during the 50s right now. But I'm not sure if that story and the idea I just mentioned should coexist in the same story. Maybe two stories that go together in one book?
