Anyway my joints ache lIke I’ve never experienced & I’m realizing how poor prep for postpartum is from the medical side. Everyone only cares about the birth and your baby and then after that it very much feels like “we don’t care about you” and yet the people in power keep crying about birth rates.

Last year I read a book called Unwell Women that covers history and why women’s healthcare is so poor.

Being postpartum with new issues popping up 9 weeks after birth just continues to make me angry. You go to research things and it’s just like “it is what it is” & “take some Tylenol“…

Just to clarify, I haven’t had any apps ask for it yet but did it more as a precaution since I hadn’t updated in so long

I haven’t updated since iOS 18 🫣 and I didn’t want some of my apps to stop working

In other updates, she‘s one month tomorrow and I have no idea where the last 4 weeks went.

No one warned me about the master level newborn cry fake out they’ll have while in their active sleep phase. I’ve been rushing to pick her up at any hint of a cry and didn’t realize until last night that on top of pterodactyl noises, she will have a 10-15 second cry but while asleep and is fine.

I'm begging someone to open a Vietnamese restaurant in Bedford please. Milton Keynes, Biggleswafe and Hitchin all have Pho but are all a 25-30 minute drive. I just want to be able to order yummy broth from my couch while postpartum thnx.

Baby Chloe arrived early this morning so quickly there wasn’t time for an epidural. She’s fine, I’m mostly fine. We’re all exhausted.

In the throes of labor & pain, I asked Jhey what the Sunderland vs Man City result was. Needed a mood boost during what was the hardest thing I’ve ever done 😅🤣

The space between Christmas and the New Year is even more disorienting when you’re waiting to go into labor.

Also the rest of my crown came off my back molar earlier and I am pining for my American dentist.
