I knew I wanted to add an interactive piano on my site, so I created an animated piano roll that records your playback. Each key plays a different voice clip of me saying different words - like "vibe" or "code". And it works with keyboard, mouse, touch, and MIDI input.

each blog has a unique waveform identity generated for it by sampling the text from the post.

the waveform data gets statically generated by Astro on the server and passed to a client-side component that can render it on a canvas.

i wanted to infuse audio into every element of my website, so for my blog I created a component that works like the timeline in an audio or video app. you can scroll through the page, or quickly jump to sections using the "chapter markers".
