I really hate to DNF a book due to editing issues but sometimes it’s just too much.

My biggest fear as an editor is coming off mean to my authors, but like, dude. You didn’t use dialogue tags and I have no idea who’s speaking at any point in the manuscript…if I don’t understand what’s going on your readers certainly won’t either.
