Earlier today on Threads I got a little testy with some dumb dumb and then after like 2 replies I realized he was either AI or using AI to draft his replies so I just muted him. This is self care. This is growing up.

I'm sick and tired of my phone. I don't even use it to make calls anymore. The only "people" who call me are scammer bots. I just use it to stare into the endless void of unhappiness.

I've tried screen time limiting apps and it did not make a difference lol

My kids are back on their Nightmare Before Christmas kick & it's got me thinking: It's strange that Nightmare has pretty much 0 derivative works. There was no Saturday morning cartoon or straight-to-vhs sequel. No Oogie Boogie backstory series. No chibi/anime adaptation. Just the film & books of it.

It goes without saying that both Tribute bands (Badfish and 40 oz to Freedom) and both reboots (Sublime with Rome and the current lineup) are markedly better live than Bradley Nowell ever was. I'm not saying that to be mean.
