My game exists somewhere between Tobie Lolness and the Monk & Robot books by Becky Chambers.

The title card for the animated series Tobie Lolness. Here, the titular character leaps from one leaf to another in a wide shot of some foliage.
Here we see Tobie with (I believe) Elisha Lee. She is seated on the ground under a leaf that is sort of a tent-like shelter while Tobie stands opposite, They are in front of a scraggly looking bush.
Here the two characters are in a grotto of sorts. Water streams into a pool at the left of the image, in which Tobie is standing. Elisha is seated on a mossy bank to the right, amid some fungi and lichen.
Here Tobie is standing between two members of (I think) the Grass People. They are surrounded by a canopy of tall blades of grass and plants. Hanging among them are some lanterns made from thin, vine-like strands.
Finally tracked down that gorgeous animated show I saw when in Paris last December, Tobie Lolness.
But I don't think I can watch the whole thing here. I tried finding a region-free DVD or Blu-Ray, but no luck.
Longshot, but maybe @thespaceshipper.com or a follower know of a source? 🤞

Picked up new glasses and ... wow!
PSA: If you're a glasses wearer, make sure you go back to the optometrist every year or so to stay on top of your prescription, if you can. Your vision will thank you for it!

BTW, I am literally at the optometrist office right now, picking up new glasses. I showed this to them and they all squealed in both horror and a sort of rabid desire to “beat” the game.

The glasses in question, 80.1% clean
Oh no, no no no no. No thanks. I play this game several times a day on the real thing. I will not …
… five minutes and two finger cramps later …
Damn you glasses cleaning game! I MUST clean these glasses!!!

Original summertime coastal marsh oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Possibilities" 16"x16" oil on canvas (2023). Painting of a coastal marsh underneath a brilliant pink sunrise or sunset sky, with light reflecting off the water.
It's a gray, gloomy day here, so I'm sharing a piece to hopefully brighten and energize your day!

The husky in question, happy that the weather has dipped into the 20s/30s this past week, giving him some sort of primal husky energy which makes him run everywhere we go.
The sun rises behind a sky filled with puffy cumulus clouds and the white blossoms of a plum tree.
Good morning folks 🌅
Sorry, been super-busy the last few, so haven’t posted in the mornings. Here’s a couple snaps of Shadow and the dramatic sky from sunnier times earlier this week.
Off to collect new glasses which I _very_ much need.
Be well out there 🙏

A steaming hot bowl of tofu, home fries, and tomatoes, spicy and well seasoned.
It’s been 10 consecutive days of lifting weights and running every day for the first time since I began treating my thyroid issue two years ago this month. One small benefit I missed was having big ol’ breakfasts like this.

I do this with random too. What a great idea for a playlist!
Come to think on it, it’s weird that music services don’t have a “make a playlist out of the songs I’ve never skipped with greater than 10 plays” button.

A dog bed set on top of a husky dog. There is a big lump in the bed where his body is while his head and two front legs/paws stick out from under one side of the bed.
When someone’s more cozy letting you put the bed on him, than moving to let you set it down.

WIP. Same trees, different styles. As usual for my trees, it's easy to change the leaves' shape. I added snow to tree models in SpeedTree to create half-snow and full-snow variants. ❄️🌲

Today was one of these:
- How do I format some data in a sustainable way?
- Oh, rework a whole layer of my backend using another library, sure
… four hours later …
- Soooo, now the front end can’t use the openapi spec that worked before, great
~sigh~
- Undo everything, roll my own solution 🤦😡

Of course. I have a lot of fun making everything, and seeing all the kiddos have a great Halloween, so it’s an evergreen treat to reshare.

A shaggy monster has taken over our doorframe, waiting to either eat you or your treats. Or maybe both!
Last one. The "Door Monster" from Halloween 2018 is still one of my favorites! All from salvaged curtains and felt bits.
