There's probably other groups fighting the Paranormal in USA, but the Hell Hunter especifically are focused on combat, they left the SWAT to fight the paranormal for themselves, but I think characters like Pete can show that there's a bit more to them than just combat
To be really fair, the Hell Hunters ARE from Texas and they used to be from SWAT, they're heavily focused on combat rather than investigation
