Options is all I ask for, rather than hubris and arrogance from the devs in response to feedback.
Customisation is one of their key features so it seems odd to suddenly force things.
Every important document should have a copy so you have a backup if it gets destroyed or lost; this is why bookmarks exist and I donβt entrust anything important to an ephemeral browser tab.
Iβm not denying the utility of the feature, just opining that it should be opt-in rather than default.
Additionally, whilst I appreciate the inclusion of features like Zen spaces for those who use them, I personally lean heavily on virtual desktops to accomplish similar.
By having tabs mirrored between windows on separate desktops, this workflow is completely broken.
Itβs a stark change to force.
If you buy a second desk to give yourself more working space, why would you want duplicates of all the documents you have on your first desk?
Iβd have thought youβd want to utilise the extra room to work on different tasks, rather than shuffling through mixed-up paperwork on the same desk.
Yes Iβve always wanted every separate browser window I open to show exactly the same tabs.
