George Oldfield has been on the Greater Big Cherry City Council for 39 years. As the longest serving member he has been instrumental in may advancements in the Big Cherry community even though he is not a fan of change. He is owner and proprietor of Oldfield's Feed and Seed. Established in 1923 by his Grandfather Oscar Oldfield, Sr. An avid gardener and fly fisherman he spends his free time making birdhouse to sell in his store.
Brenda Mat has been with the city council since returning to Big Cherry nine years ago after the loss of her late husband. Though she attended college elsewhere, Ms. Matz is a Big Cherry native and was even BCHS Homecoming Queen Class of 1996! Ms. Matz spends most of her free time with her cats, Jeremy and Fester.
Gladys Innes is the longest-serving member of the Big Cherry town council, with an impressive 34 years experience. A fixture of both local governance and community life, she is a dedicated Avon representative, known for her impeccable style, carefully applied makeup, and the small catalogs she always seems to have on hand. Whether she's dropping off a new shade of lipstick, chatting about the latest skincare products, or catching up on local gossip, she is a welcome presence wherever she is.
Debbie Johnson is a no-nonsense, straight-talking secretary of the Big Cherry town council for the last seven years. As the co-owner of a beloved local steakhouse, she has built a reputation as a hardworking businesswoman who knows how to keep things running smoothly-whether it's a kitchen or a council meeting. She takes pride in her restaurant, which has been a staple of the community for years, drawing in regulars who trust her for a good meal and even better conversation.
