I installed photoshop to check this. Don't drag me into this knife fight.

Okay, this is getting spooky.
Edam or Brie.
Aorus X570 Master? I have one. 5950x, 4090, magewell 4x HDMI and blackmagic 8x SDI capture cards, plus a USB card for good measure
Photo of the eastern end of False Creek in Vancouver, Canada. Right of the frame is the trussed sphere of Science World lit in blue, with BC Place stadium illuminated in teal to the left in the distance. Both are reflected in the calm water to the foreground.
Itβs yellow tonight.
Given the chance to try again, this would be my policy as well. At the time, I was much more optimistic/naive about community building and managing discussion platforms. Establish values from the start, swing the hammer mercilessly to enforce them.
Steam forums for my last project were the absolute worst society has to offer. When we started moderating them more actively, users started their own forum to attack us and our volunteers without consequence.
Viewed a 500 square foot apartment today, that costs more than the one I'm losing on April 1st. I don't believe anyone who says they are happy in that amount of room.
Back on my broadcast director shit.
2024 off to a start.
No adult human has ever gracefully dismounted from an air mattress with any amount of dignity left intact. Cannot be done.
2am thought:
holy fuck i hate commuting into downtown so fucking much. this shit eats, on average 90 to 120 minutes of my day. jesus christ i need a remote job again.
Designed, directed, and assembled a 2 minute long cinematic gameplay trailer and complimentary renders for a pitch deck in under 2 weeks. Shame it didn't work out.
Sat in the director's chair for the first time in over 2 years and holy shit i missed directing TV so much god dammit. I want my next studio to let me build and run broadcasts on the regular.
Just so much fun and energy.
George W. Bush being informed that he does, in fact, have to get up and drive downtown at 4:30am in order to continue affording food.
Waking up at 4am for work: "Sir, a second snooze has hit the alarm."
It had been 830 days since I last woke up before 4am to put on a TV show.
Shit.
Good morning.

I'm still unemployed, so this is now a Starfield photography account.
Jesus Christ I'm so tired please no more 6:45am call times
Back on that broadcast shit
I saw him! Incredible jawline, reminded me of that model, Helmut Kruger.
"Yeah, uhhhh, I'll get a Higgs Boson Burger with a large hadron, animal style, and a chocolate shake to go.
No, no, I'll collide it when I get home."
I played about 40 hours of Baldur's Gate 3 in the first 3 days of release. Since then, I've been experiencing a very unfortunate side effect - all my dreams are complicated, dramatic, intense affairs which have me waking up at odd hours in a cold sweat.
Please god make it stop.
A rejection email for a job, where the posting was a general application titled "Don't see your position posted? Convince us why you'd be a great hire!". That text appears in the body of the email instead of a generic application title, making it appear messy and disorganized.
This might just sum up my job search better than anything else can.
Be careful, kid gets +5 to attacking weak points with stick.
Intellectually, I know the industry is a mess right now, especially in Vancouver. But, it's really hard to not take every rejection as "you're not good enough." This has been a really bad month for my mental health. I wish I knew what to do differently.
Picture of the Pacific Ocean, taken from the Iona Jetty in Richmond, BC, Canada.
Picture of a large bird in close proximity to the photographer. The bird appears unphased by their presence.
I went to the end of the world and also met a bird.
