Oklahoma Republicans via HJR 1032, repealed provisions which, until yesterday, allowed people to update their gender markers on their driver's licenses or state IDs due to transitioning with a court order.
This is the anti-trans bill passed & enacted this year.

Louisiana Republican State Rep. Mike Johnson is using HB 578 to try to replace all instances of the word "gender" in Louisiana code with "sex", declare that "gender" can't substitute for "sex" and that "sex" means what folks saw between your legs when you were born.

Worry it can pass given how the legislature has pushed other bills. HB404 already passed
This is also a copy of a House bill from 2025, which is technically still alive but has had not activity in nearly a year.
HF 12 has diverged from its introduced version through amendments to now have an egg & sperm production definition of sex baked in.
