My OC from FFXIV, Vidar Ealdhelm- a Dark Knight cursed to be hunted and pursued by voidsent.

He’s Ala Mhigan borne but grew up as a poor refugee in Ul’dah. He took up mercenary work as a young teen, driven by the desire to bring glory back to his people and himself.

After being taken in by a dark knight proper, he was trained in Coerthas alongside his mentor’s daughter. Initially rivals, they’d grow close for the following years until they pursued a death cult in the wastes. A voidsent was summoned that injured Vidar and left him cursed with death warrant on his very soul, while also taking a sacrifice from his dear friend in order to send it back from whence it came. Distraught, he’d abandon his training and leave eastward for almost up to a decade fighting fronts against the empire by day and demons by night. Only after time spent with new friends did he return to finish his training and fight for Ala Mhigan independence.
