Killer Tune 41

I'm seeing death sequences I didn't know existed with Grace and I don't like it.

Platinumed RE9 recently and am now suffering through an Insanity run without bonus items or infinite ammo. Drew Grace in-between deaths for luck.

The original RE4 was my first RE game and still my favorite.
It was also one of my first M-rated games along with Liberty City Stories for the PSP.
It's tougher to pick a second favorite. Probably RE4R, funnily enough.
Still need to do a proper playthrough of RE1 Remake. Only played it briefly.

Made an animated intro for a segment my coworkers and I put together to play during coffee hour at my college.

Gave me RE Vendetta vibes minus the multiple civilian casualties.

If the new Naked Gun reminded me that parody films used to be funny, the trailer for this just reminded me of why they stopped making them.

She's the best part of the movie for me. It's unfortunate that she's not the main character, and she's constantly having her thunder stolen by Alice, who I think ruins what would've otherwise been a halfway-decent RE film.

Still in Resident Evil mode so here's a rough RE9 sketch. Super hyped for this Friday.

The more I look up about Simmons the lamer and funnier he gets. No wonder I haven't seen a single fan talk about this guy despite him being the main villain of an official, numbered entry, he might just be the biggest loser in all of Resident Evil.

Sitting on it more, it's crazy to me that the entire plot of RE6 happened because some guy gooned too close to the sun.

On a different note, been working on something.

The villain just being a massive Ada simp is the funniest shit, though.

I'm also bias because Ada's my favorite RE girl she's so cool and hot despite her whitewashed face in this game.

I didn't hate Ada's campaign because 1) again, mercifully short, and 2) Ada seemed about as done with this game as I was.

Beat RE6.

Also ngl him and Sherry make a hot couple.

And I honestly didn't mind Jake as a character. I expected him to be a whiny moody emo douche but he's way more wise-crack-y than expected. He's basically just Leon if you amped up the snark and cockiness to 11. I think making his campaign the full game could've helped flesh his character out more.

I feel like they've should've scrapped Leon's and Chris' story and just focused solely on Jake's. That 6 months timeskip felt awkwardly placed and only served to line their story up with the others. It felt like we skipped a huge chunk of story and character development.

It's the only campaign where I could've seen potential in. It also helps that the chapters felt mercifully short.

RE6 should've just been about Jake and Sherry.

Also why is Ada white?

Hopefully Requiem will hit like crack after this.

This game feels like a bunch of Mercenaries maps strung together. No lulls between action, no atmosphere, no building tension. It has more in common with Call of Duty than it does Resident Evil.

I can see how this game killed quick-time events. This game literally took all the wrong lessons from 4 and 5.

The villain of Leon's campaign has to be the most "literally who" villain in the entire (mainline) series.

Everyone saying the gameplay's good is solely going off of hype moments and aura because the game controls like piss.
