I mounted an under dash FM/8-track player w/a roll top hideaway feature & some Jensen speakers in the front doors of my '70 Beetle( in 1977, when I got it). I recall my dad (repeatedly) yelling @ me every time he borrowed my car to run an errand-TOO LOUD. my solution: don't use my car!
