In case anyone needs a little light today: last weekend was Swiss Thanksgiving, where we carve out and decorate kohlrabis, plop real candles into them, and do a procession through the woods with our kids and lanterns, singing songs (“Räbeliechtliumzug”). It is delightful and ridiculous.
