everybody needs to draw yshtola fatter, yshtola pls get fatter

it’s a time where eyrie fully takes the steps into their duty to be a protector—to be the one to keep others safe. the role becomes them, the duty is what matters the most.

eyrie was cold & quiet—full of resentment, regrets, grief & frustration, esp towards alphi. they swallowed down a lot of that for the sake of providing some stability & comfort to tataru & alphi. it was difficult to be angry when the two were lost & scared.

Kiet is easy because of her short ears + loud opinionated mouth. it’s easier to hear her first. oh and the glowing eye full of Way Too Much Aether

eyrie is around 6’5” (195cm) so they tend to stick out for a viera. also the splotchy spots near the tops of their ears.
their aether is also remarkably thin & those w keen senses can feel how “wrong” they are—an uncanny valley feeling. like looking at a dead bird on the side of the road

eyrie is nonbinary/queer (they/them) & kiet is trans (she/her) she used to identify as a trans man, but is now just a gnc woman !

eyrie dislikes oranges bc of the taste + the feel of the oil on their hands.
kiet is scared of grasshoppers due to them jumping at her as a small child & terrifying her. she hasn’t forgotten, nor will she forgive.

(they helplessly cared for their infant daughter over the short three days of her life—listening to her cry & choke before she withered away to stillness. they still curse their inability to give her the swift & kind death she deserved from the start. her death Haunts eyrie)

eyrie has had children, but they wouldn’t wish to have more. they view children as a obligation to the future + for people who want them to have them + babies in general Freak Them Out. they won’t care for or even hold v young infants. they cannot stand to hear a baby cry.

kiet would probs sooner die than think of having children bc she is terrified of inadvertently becoming her mother—or worse understanding her mother. that despite her love, she still chose to act as she did & kiet would rather not know that love. she wouldn’t know how to be a good mother anyway
