It's even worse when it's in French since they wait for the English translation to do the French one.
Everyone getting mad because xxx have the best translation, there's a difference between it's good and it's accurate towards the original material (take for example degozaru in your sentence or when they use Osaka way of speaking). You can't do much sadly.
Generally, they tend to made up jokes that are lost in translation or the tone people use that you can't translate like Freeza in DBZ changing the way he talks depending on his transformation that is completely absent in English. Let's not talk about Japanese actor or references.

I'm speed running some games lately, played Final Fantasy Tactics on Ps1 and gosh, the hit percentage is broken af with Ninjas having a 65% chance of hitting heavy armored knights and sometimes even on the back 😆 and the cpu always hitting you even at 9% chance. The Ai is also broken on allies.

I don't know how I feel about those YT video claiming "games for the PS2 that still look good on modern TV" and shows an emulated version of each games, upscaled to 4k with 60fps and widescreen patches, textures pack & overclocked. Sure, but you would die in 480i with RGB cable (or YUV).
