Instagram has suspended my new account for posting pictures of a protest. This is the second time this has happened. The first time they deleted my account. Instagram is pretty much useless for photojournalism.
Some pictures from a "No Fascism Friday" protest hosted by Indivisible of Las Vegas. The protest was in front of the Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas, NV on February 27, 2026.
The Las Vegas MPD told me not to stand on the island in the middle of the boulevard taking picture.

I'm making a new Instagram account. Unfortunately, that means I need to rebrand all my accounts. I'd like to have some uniformity. Since, I'm just starting out it's not catastrophic.
What do you suggest? I haven't been able to find a way to reach a human to resolve this. I am hoping that tomorrow the bot will allow me to appeal again, but I am not holding my breath.
I'm hoping this isn't permanent despite what their bot says. I'll know in a few days if I have to make a new account and start over.
My Instagram account was flagged by their algorithm for "account integrity." Apparently the bot thought I was a fellow bot and disabled my account. Despite providing two forms of government ID, it "permanently" disabled my account. They provide no way to ask for a human to review it either.
