Well I haven't run anything, and I've been in Silicon Valley for decades.

Who are you using? I switched from Comcast years ago, at best 100-125Mbps with the 600 Mbps service I paid for, to T-Mobile. I discovered that having a 5G tower nearby and line-of-sight from my window made a HUGE difference. Very happy. Reliable, fast, and I pay less.
You'll understand this even better once you realize that Libertarians are just failed Republicans.

The reason they ship "an endless buffet of itty-bitty fixes" is because the metric that's tracked is closed Jira tickets. As Joel Spolsky pointed out, whatever metric you choose to track, devs will find a way to game them.
