Yeah itโs not like any Labour parliamentarians ever made it all about them, despite their actions in office
1 Make pollution visible only 34% of sewer overflows are monitored in Scotland. We want 100% monitoring to know how often our waterways are being polluted.
2 Stop routine pollution Our wastewater regulations are over 30 years old. We want improved standards for surface water quality and wastewater treatment to protect our health and nature.
3 Hold polluters to account Even clear evidence of sewage pollution does not guarantee that it gets cleared up. We must review the resources and enforcement of current regulations to protect our waterways.
4 Build in resilience Networks of green and blue spaces reduce pressure on sewers. We want interim targets set for 2030 to invest in blue-green infrastructure to reduce sewage spills.

Sewer overflows were meant to be used to prevent sewers from backing up from exceptionally heavy rainfall. But now, they are causing routine pollution with over 24,000 spills reported in 2024.

Thatโs the scary part for me, the amount of a young lads on the street who seemingly idolise them.
Tit for twat
The desperation the establishment has for everyone to be swimming in the same shit is surreal - but at least it explains water privatisation
Good to see moral clarity and decency from LGBT and women's groups within the Green Party, the Liberal Democrats and the SNP.
Damning that LGBT Labour has once again left @georgiameadows.bsky.social to stand alone against transphobia. Self-serving cowardice which shames the entire Labour movement.
I mean itโs not as if theyโd even give them TB
When it comes to picking the right animals for English banknotes, here are a few native species to consider: pollock, weasel, rat, lumpsucker, slug, toad & leech
Are these European badgers though? I always was taught they were kindly and avuncular
Whilst I donโt disagree, it remains ironic how tone deaf OA was to his participation in Eurovision.
Iโve been bitten by a squirrel - far more pluck & fighting spirit.
For me one of the abiding moments of him clearly showing his mettle was when he got upset at people โlaughing at my dadโ every time he repeated he was a tool maker.
What a weird hill to die on.
Oddly better received than those with Churchillโs fecking ugly mug on.
The other unsaid and unnoticed detail is that *every* animal note in Scotland has a famous woman on the other side.
I, for one, think that the new Bank of England notes should specifically replace Churchill with a Great Tit
I can also make this about boobies but theyโre not native to England so ..,
I mean I was also gonna suggest the new Bank of England notes should feature : blue tits, great tits, long tailed tits, and bearded tits.
Some people are just never meant to see dolphins. Me, Iโve managed to even see them from the train several times
Took the dugs out around the East Neuk with their granny today: when it comes to photo opportunities, my dugs *always* understand the assignment ๐ฉถ๐๐ค #fifelife
On current polling itโs gonna be stuffed with tits come the next GE
โGuardians of the Countrysideโ, my arse.
Price of Crude Oil WTI (USD/Bbl) over a five-year period, spanning from 2021 to early 2026. The chart shows a significant price peak in 2022 reaching over $120, followed by a general downward trend with various fluctuations, eventually hitting a low near $55 in late 2025 before a sharp vertical spike to the current price of 90.900. This recent surge represents an increase of +23.880 (+35.63%), highlighted in green text above the blue line graph.
The real insanity isnโt how much oil prices have spiked, itโs that weโre still burning oil for energy.
Thereโs a difference between losing the whip & jumping parties though
โfondlyโ is a bit on the nose.
Also - donโt the Greens have a policy that by elections should be called if MPs switch parties? If not, why not?
