So alongside printmaking, I decided to teach myself soft pastels this year. I wanted something immediate, colourful, where I could sit and get lost for hours on end. As always, water is my biggest muse, so I started there. #softpastel #pastelartist #unisoncolour

My 'The Herd' prints are now dry and ready to find new homes. This was a real experiment is simplifying the design and in the end I felt the deer on their own, emerging out of the mist, best represented the atmosphere I wanted to portray. #traditionalprint #printmaker #linocut #reliefprint

I feel much the same regarding colour. Have just started experimenting with soft pastels too because I love the pure pigment!
