Here's my first edit on the March 3rd Lunar Eclipse. 15 moon shots, 1 foreground. Taken over a 3 hourish period.

Meta and Amazon aren't alone β Pinterest, EBay, Target, Square, MasterCard, Nike... the list goes on of corporations making major workforce reductions while still making billions in profits.
They don't deserve our business at the expense of our neighbors' livelihoods.
Most of what you buy on Amazon you can buy, with cash, in your local economy.
You can still enjoy social media while preventing their overlords from profiting off your presence.
We don't have to protest in the streets to shut all this down.
Quit my 11 month hiatus to say: it's been time to shift back to using cash and invest in ad-blocking software.
Amazon made $716 Billion last year but still laid off 30,000 people since October.
Meta made $200 Billion last year and still laid off 15,000 people.
Cut these fuckers off at the knees.
See: Drake.
this was a fabulous conversation (because James is an β¨amazing β¨ host)

NC has a half marathon in my city called the City of Oaks (cityofoaksmarathon.com) every November and I'd love to host you π©· (I know that's not in June, but June is beastly in this part of NC)
If you wanna get free, you won't get free following people who profit off of you.
My mom had me sort through my most nostalgic (it was about 10-15) and I kept those to this day. Somewhere in early high school I started reading them again when everything felt so heavy.
a brown and grey tabby cat, poised upright on a bathroom sink counter. she has a light cream belly, with her striped front legs fully propping her up in a seated upright position. her stripes are dark brown, her main fur color elsewhere is tan and grey. she has green and blue mixed color eyes, and the bathroom lighting illuminates her from below like a goddess.
all hail my cat
yessss β and tell me when and how I'm gonna learn, and what the criteria are for how my learning will be assessed π₯΅

Please, I need some more financial support for my podcast, it would be greatly appreciated.
Yay! I'm so glad to hear about your voice lessons ππ
And yes, you are not alone in feeling more alone these days π«ΆπΌπ
That's most of it β I'm sure there's a million other little things I forget that contribute to me building my sense of self and gender, but those are the big rhythms on the regular.
You're amazing for being you and doing what you need to feel yourself π

Nails
My nails have always been brittle and I could never grow them very long. I didn't realize until I started getting them done just how much longer nails help me feel confident. I get my nails done every 3-4 weeks. These are acrylic fills from this year.

Makeup + Hair
Here's my face again from this morning, with a bit of makeup and my hair touched up.
I get my hair dyed professionally every 14 weeks.
I do my own makeup just for fun but also because it helps me with that inner sense of femininity that I'm looking for sometimes.
Hair removal cont'd
2 years ago I started the process of laser hair treatment and I am so grateful for it. I only focused on my upper thighs and privates, but the relief I experienced from years of pain cycles was so worth it.
Hair removal:
In addition to dermaplaning removing hair from most of my face (including my upper lip), I also pluck 20ish hairs between my brows and 60-80 hairs off my chin (all black) between dermaplaning sessions.
Body:
- shave: legs, armpits, feet 1x/week
Dermaplaning:
To help with that feel of soft skin, I added dermaplaning to my regimen a couple years ago. So now I exfoliate 2-3x/week and dermaplane my face once every 3 weeks.
Skincare:
I don't give a shit about gender roles, but I do have some inner tie to the feel of femininity (whatever the fuck that means) and for me that most often looks like caring for my skin and keeping it smooth. My regimen:
- cleanse: 2x daily
- moisturize + serum: 2x daily
- retinol: 3x/week

hello trans, enby, genderfluid and all other girlies! this is my annual post about gender affirming care as a cis woman.
I started doing this a few years ago β now I do it annually after my first dermaplaning (which was yesterday).
Here's my face this morning, post-skincare. A thread π§΅
Poema is a fabulous podcast (found everywhere podcasts are found). I love listening to James host his guests with care and thoughtfulness π
Please contribute if you can to help James keep producing Poema this year! πβ¨

Hello! Panromantic asexual reporting for duty! (and fellow admirer of @jennadewitt.bsky.social π)
for me, it's about what I hope in response. Am I hoping to captivate their heart? Am I hoping to be the only thing they think about today? Or am I hoping they feel comfy just like I do?
Remember, surviving is a good a resolution as any.
Weβre close to losing Sesame Street, a show that was started to provide free educational media to marginalized kids in our country.
Thatβs not an accident in my opinion and itβs just one more example of how Capitalism robs our society of the sweet and good things we build to care for one another.
