I agree wholeheartedly. And I’m happy to fix the situation. As a result of all this, I’ve made a public coms queue, which is something that I think could’ve prevented this mess from happening, and will certainly prevent it from happening again.

You’re right, I guess I didn’t see it that way. Totally on me, and I am extremely regretful this happened. I hope I can make it up to him someday with the art he is owed.

I will say, also, that because of this situation, I have decided to implement a publicly avalible queue, so that no one has to wonder what is being worked on, and when it will be their turn. Lesson learned here, for sure.

I can see how that would be seen that way, however irl circumstances can often explain why things didn’t get out, which I wasn’t asked about either. So if it was an issue, big enough to DEMAND a refund, he didn’t seem to care enough to ask.

Yeah like i said, I didn’t act 100% perfect here. That part is on me. And I accept that fully, but to spit in my face when I was trying to make it right then call me out publicly? Is just plain wrong.

Yeah of course. I don’t mind that at all. Look I’m not gonna say that I did entirely right here, but I tried to make it right with him, and he openly declined and blocked me. I think what he did was a bit unfair, despite that I would love nothing more than to make him whole. That’s all I can say.

No not really. All he would do is message me every couple of months or so “uhm update”.

I assumed, but when he made it clear to me he wasn’t ok waiting (the latest situation) I offered to finish what was owed immediately. And I apologized.

It was a mixture of a lot of things I suppose, me being in college, and having a full time job etc etc. Him and I were really good friends and I had done him 6 pictures before, so I suppose I assumed he would be ok waiting while I worked on other commissions, too. I guess I was wrong there.

I should note that he offered to let me finish them all by March, but retracted that offer “because I was being petty”. And then he blocked me.

One at that time, it was an artist choice bundled deal. I had plans to present him with his second wip but then he blew up on me, and i didn’t get a chance. I never ever EVER want to leave someone empty handed like that, and i am more than happy to give him more art if he wants it.

On the 22nd I presented him with his first wip. And this morning I told him I would stop everything I was doing to get all 6 pictures done by the end of next month.

I’m not refunding someone whose art I already started, like, flat out not gonna happen. He didn’t post the entire story here.

I offered to make him whole he declined.
