The commute isn't the issue, most of my friends dont live more than 30 mins away. So meeting online instead of irl isnt a fix sadly🥲

When? They literally do not have time for that. Their schedules are fully booked like its an olympic sport. They literally do not have time for something like that unless you plan it weeks in advance😅

Yea it kinda feels like a sport to find a time and date that works. I really wish it was different but this is just the norm here, ugh. I have one friend who is not like that at all but she lives hours away😭

Work breaks are for eating lunch and they are usually short. They also use the breaks to chill so they wont call then😂. But yea living like that sounds miserable to me too, but somehow its popular in my country to plan life like this😅

Yea sadly my friends are actually busy busy so there is no time for videocalls either. They have plans literally every day of the week, always after work too. Idk how people live their lives like that tbh😅

I have 1 friend who actually has time to hang out with me within a few days or a week, but since we both have young kids that keep getting sick we also have to cancel a lot. All my other friends are always like "uhh how about next month?" "I am available in 6 weeks!" WHY IS EVERYONE SO BUSY

Planned to hang out with a friend tonight but shes cancelling bc shes sick. Which is valid ofc, but we planned this in mid january already and this was her first availability. I've been waiting for weeks for this so I am so bummed. I feel like nobody ever has time anymore :(

I really miss having a rug in the living room but with 2 long haired cats, a german shepherd and 2 toddlers its just so much easier to keep the house clean without a rug. Cleaning that rug took so much of my time🥲
