I also really appreciated that it wasn’t so much about the battles themselves, like it was more often with DCC, but about the interpersonal relationships and particularly shared histories of the characters. And I also appreciated the feeling of responsibility to fight for those who couldn’t.
I really liked it! I don’t know if it’s because I used to play PUBG a lot, and I dealt with immature, violent gamers during Gamergate, so I felt like there were multiple access points for me into what was going on outside of the anti-capitalism? It also reminds me of some of my favorite sci-fi.
