Finished Resident Evil Requiem. Capcom is on a roll with these RE games and they can't be stopped. Overall, a great experience!

I guess I'm just getting older and having "boomer" takes on the industry. I can't imagine being so down in my own life to start begging for the failure of other people and their work.

Also, gonna be real for a moment here. Anyone who saw this game get announced and immediately started praying for its downfall need to check themselves in for some therapy. Genuinely sociopathic behaviour to want something to fail because "Haha Concord 2".

It's a real shame about Highguard shutting down soon. It wasn't a game for me personally, but the devs truly believed in what they were making and were passionate all throughout development. To watch their product they spent years of their life working on for others to enjoy be laughed at is sad.

Gotta say, Marathon is pretty neato, all things considered. I'm not an extraction shooter fan, so I doubt I'll buy full release unless they plan on adding some single-player stuff in the future. The lore and world are super interesting, and I'd like to get invested, but not in its current format.

Gotta love how Marathon just launches you straight into a game without letting you adjust volume and graphics beforehand. Bungie literally just cannot stop forcing you to interact with content you do not want to play just yet.
