One time a customer put in a ticket for “slow speeds”. They had a Gig circuit and he sent a screenshot of 950/925 Mbps speed test.
Confused, I replied asking if it was slow at certain times. He said the speeds were consistent but was wondering why they weren’t getting the remaining 50/75 Mbps. 😂
As a network guy, what’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve had to troubleshoot to appease someone? I have some pretty absurd ones on my list.

Agreed on the education piece. One of the big issues that I see is the unwillingness for everyone to wait for the education piece before utilizing AI like this in prod.
It’s fine to test with, but when people accept it blindly as an irrefutable source of truth, it’s a problem.
AI posts like this are infuriating. There are some cool things that you can do with AI, but some of these posts go way too far.
On this Caturday, I celebrate one of our cats who passed away yesterday. Darcy was so loving and crazy in the best way.
He loved water and would follow us into the shower or help himself to an unattended cup.
We miss him dearly. We love you Darcy boy ❤️

Yea - language learning has evolved so much in the last 5 years. The only options 10+ years ago were audio tapes/CDs, books, or going abroad/having a friend who spoke the language.
Language learning apps and language translate features have made it much more accessible.

It happens to me a lot, which is why I dabble in several languages. The problem is that I feel like I’ll never achieve fluency in any of them without focus
