january was never ending but i’m loving february so far. clear improvements in my singing, exciting plans in the near future, mental health is quite okay, and i’ve been going on a few dates with the sweetest gal and we held hands on our latest one lol (excited to see where this goes)
i had also rewritten a song to adapt the lyrics to honour my friend whose birthday it was, and it’s safe to say she loved it. 🥹
had a great saturday (into an early sunday) with loved ones. i love love love making people feel special so i’m really glad i got to be a part of setting up the venue for my friend’s 40th 💖 (i even sang a solo. whomst?! never would’ve had the guts to do that in front of 50 people a few months ago.)
i’ve had someone tell me something that upset me so naturally i’m not asleep yet because i’m overthinking everything and i have to clock in for work in about 7 hours. help meeee
two and three done! i had one solo bit in one song that we did in both concerts and my legs didn’t shake after singing it tonight. that’s what i call progress
one concert out of four done!!! i love singing. i love my choir friends 🥹
(we also have a concert next wednesday. oh and i’m in a full-time job that’s not related to singing 🤠 i’m so tired can someone let my body know it needs to let me sleep!!!)
my sleep schedule is a mess, my voice is holding on for dear life after being ill for a week + a 2.5hr rehearsal tonight, i have another 2+hr rehearsal tomorrow, then three concerts three days in a row, and my period should be here in the next few days. it’s going brilliantly. i want a 47-year nap.

hello new oomfs i have no idea how to go back to this app and post normally again so. hi! (also as an update to my last post: i finally started therapy yesterday and am getting my 6th voice lesson on saturday. hitting my main 2024 goals in the same week! crazy etc)

got a free haircut (with a lovely apprentice!) and brought some hair home to donate to charity. i’ve always wanted to donate it but i rarely ever get haircuts and somehow i’ve always thought my hair was too damaged to donate. a huge win!
