Last season at Carnegie the organ the Czech Phil used in the Glagolitic Mass was really bad. It sounded like it was built in the 70s and cost about $10.

I think the @clevelandorch.bsky.social is the only orchestra that didn’t face the audience when they stood to acknowledge applause.

(Of course they dazzled when they played, but very dour otherwise. They looked like they had been held hostage.)
