I feel pretty strongly that gender separated spaces can be really therapeutic for teenagers, Boy Scouts for me was an essential refuge from high school, and I don't know how to make space for something like that within current gender politics.
Sometimes, the most important news is when something isnβt happening.
In my new @OurWorldInData article, I highlight that US airlines have transported passengers for more than two light-years since the last plane crash.

I mean I have no elitism here (if you prefer it, keep it on!) but my guess is that if you turned it off, most people would say "ah, that looks better!"
So, I endorse the quoted post: try turning it off and see if your family prefers it! plus, tom cruise says so

The Robert Caro LBJ biography has wildly exceeded my expectations so far. I expected it to be full of detail and wild stories (and it is), but I didn't expect the breathtaking writing and craftsmanship that Caro put into it. I've never read a biography so compelling.
I can see how much you all like to be based and this job will let you do it *anywhere*. Consider applying!

Some people: "Why should we go? What will be the practical applications? Aren't there better priorities on earth?"
Other people: "It's just obvious!!! How can you not see it?"
I'm in a bulking phase, but I'm still making sure I get enough healthy foods and don't increase my training maxes too frequently
you might call it a...Responsible Scaling Policy π
I made this into a List, which I prefer so I can save it to my sidebar on the left, and just read posts from these folks. I think this works to share? bsky.app/profile/chri...
