TOTALLY agree that it suffered from first season "establish all the things" bloat, but the actors playing the kids did an amazing job, Olyphant and Babou Ceesay were both, great, set design and costumes were neat. Overall I enjoyed it.

Cutting your comparison off at 2022 is the issue.
Since 2016 GW raised prices 3% on average even when inflation was lower. That compounds and then explodes in 2022.

2023 4.1%
