Binance Holdings Limited ("Binance" or "Plaintiff'), as and for its Complaint against Dow Jones & Company, Inc. d/b/a The Wall Street Journal ("Dow Jones" or "Wall Street Journal"), alleges as follows: INTRODUCTION 1. Binance brings this action against the Wall Street Journal for publishing a false and defamatory article on February 23, 2026, which is the subject of this complaint (the "Article"). In the Article, the Wall Street Journal made numerous false and disparaging statements about Binance, and did so knowingly, recklessly, or negligently, and despite the fact that Binance provided factual corrections prior to publication, which the Wall Street Journal disregarded. 2. Binance is the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and users. In addition to holding licenses, registrations, and authorizations in more than 20 jurisdictions, Binance is the first cryptocurrency exchange to have secured full authorization under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority
hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars in its compliance program, and a significant share of these resources is dedicated to maintaining a world-class compliance team. 3. Despite this progress, the Wall Street Journal and its reporters have made a business of maligning both the cryptocurrency industry generally and Binance specifically, regardless of facts and reality. Indeed, this strategy appears tailored to generating sensationalist headlines designed to drive pageviews and the Wall Street Journal's bottom line. The Article is a case-in-point. 4. Here, the Wall Street Journal ignored the strength of Binance's compliance program, disregarded specific facts provided by Binance, and instead chose to publish a false and misleading Article based on anonymous, unsupported sources. The Article begins with a false, defamatory and reckless headline, "Binance Fired Staff Who Flagged $1 Billion Moving to Sanctioned Iran Entities," and then launches into a narrative rife with bogus claims. 5. c. The Wall Street Journal claims that Binance diminished its compliance with law enforcement requests. That is false. The compliance investigation started as a result of law enforcement requests seeking information about transactions, and Binance complied with those requests and cooperated with law enforcement, while also conducting an independent investigation that resulted in Binance oflboarding user accounts it identified that were engaged in suspicious activity. d. The Wall Street Journal claims that Binance knowingly registered customers with false documentation and provided preferential treatment to those customers. That is false. Identity verification is mandatory for all customers. 6. The Wall Street Journal contacted Binance at the eleventh hour seeking any comment Binance had on identified points and questions related to the Article, and refused to grant a good-faith extension for Binance to respond. Binance nevertheless worked with all haste to get factual corrections to th
The Binance crypto exchange has just filed a defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal over its article reporting that Binance's own compliance investigators had found $1 billion in transfers to Iran-backed terror groups, and then were fired.
Hey all, if you have the capacity to help out two Minnesota families who are struggling, this is a great way to do it.
Money to help people pay rent would flow to Minnesota counties and tribal governments under an emergency relief proposal set for a Senate floor vote on Wednesday. The proposal would redirect unused funds from a court settlement dealing with tax-forfeited lands.
The New York Times coverage of trans issues has repeatedly resulted in experts and others complaining that their words were twisted and misrepresented... but only those quoted from on trans supportive side have that complaint.
Coincidence or eliminationism? @billiejsweeney.bsky.social dives in.
Banning HRT for trans people is not only immoral. It is dangerous. Post-Op trans women people do not naturally produce estrogen. They receive it through HRT. Estrogen prevents bone degradation (osteoporosis).

Freydis's familiar, a flying rat, flew over the grilled rat skewers and breathed out a stream of sauce. "Does it bother you to eat rat meat," asked Raven, "when your familiar is a rat?" "Spicy Queen is a winged sauce rat," replied Freydis, "which is completely different. Anyway, it's just like my pet Miss Fluff." "Miss Fluff?" "She was my pet chicken that I had when I was young," replied Freydis. "I loved her - but I still love fried chicken!"
Microfiction - Miss Fluff
I have been saying for years that there is something weirdly cancel-proof about Tom Cruise. we have known jaw-droppingly horrible things about him for decades and it has not made a dent! people still line up around the block to watch his movies! maybe this will be different but π€·ββοΈ???

this makes me want to fucking SCREAM. they USED to have an extremely nice Customer of Size seating policy with a voucher for a free middle seat that was always offered to me in a kind, non-shamey way. but the worst fatphobia I've EVER experienced while flying was Southwest last summer, and now THIS?

We will never make any progress against fascism in the US until we stop pretending that this is a gender issue, instead of a racism issue.
White women contributed almost exactly as many Trump votes as white men.

Yes. Seriously.
Because white women turn out to vote for Trump more.

Kind of thinking of a theory that skepticism is a satiable appetite. So like if you fill up on being skeptical of doctors and experts and big pharma, you'll feel like oh that's plenty for now and put the skepticism away when people try to sell you on crystals and beef tallow
Massachusetts folks: call or email your state rep and urge them to vote YES on H.3594. It's passed in the Senate--let's get this done.
Removing trial by jury will not help victims, it'll create victims, and erode basic rights.
What's needed is better funding for the courts, and also in education to prevent people falling into crime in the first place.

I almost never have anything good to say about any Labour MP, but Charlotte Nichols is extremely brave to speak out about this, in the House, in front of cameras, with it being recorded in Hansard for posterity.
I admire her very much right now. I am also crying.
You may have heard that the (Federal) House of Reps introduced a national book banning bill recently, specifically targeting books w/ trans people. Some states are passing laws to protect the freedom to read--let's make Massachusetts one of them. Ask your rep to bring H.3594 to the floor.π
Sadly, just as Hitler did.
Another thing I mentioned -- for all the transphobic lionization of "girls sports" that Republicans do on this floor, they seem incredible indifferent to and discounting of professional athletes who are women or women's sports franchises. #waleg
